| Hey everyone! I've spent the past few weeks travelling in Europe. I arrived in Brussels, then visted Brugge, Ghent, and then flew to Barcelona for a week and spent 4 days in the city and 3 days on the beach. It is the most beautiful city I have ever seen. I then returned to Brussels and we drove to Paris for a day. We wanted to return for the next two days, but some of the roads were flooded and I wasn't able to. I'll have to post pictures later.
I'm in Prague now and am enjoying it thoroughly. My roommate is from Serbia Montenegro and I've learned so much from her. I will be here for 2 more weeks. I've visited the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, and some churches that are 600 years old. Of course, I have also done my share of shopping. Beer is famous in Prague. Budvar, the original Budweiser, originated here. There pubs on every corner. That's all for now. I'll check in later. I hope everyone is enjoying your summer!
| *sigh*... Even when I'm about to go to Europe I have papers to write. I am almost done writing my papers for SRMUN... and I will be free at last! But I am SO excited about Europe! I am leaving tomorrow for ATL. I asked the people in the Prague program what they wanted from the States, since we are supposed to bring something cultural. So what did they ask for?
1) Cinnamon gum 2) Strawberry Pop-tarts 3) Jolly Rancher Lollypops 4) Twizzlers 5) Cherry flavored SKOAL! (for Togay)
Yes, I had to ask for SKOAL, which is chewing tobacco, for those of you not from the South, at the cash register at Walmart. I got some funny looks and a lot of questions from my 9 year old brother. I had no idea that these are the things Europeans want from us unhealthy Americans.
Also, I signed my next year away with Michelin, so I'll be working for them in Spartanburg if any of you are in the area. I also got an apartment there, a cute little one bedroom, close enough to Haywood Mall so that I can go there everyday if I get lonely. :) Hopefully some people will visit me.;) Anyways, I hope everyone has a great summer!
| I can't believe I'm done with undergrad! So funny story (kinda).. I didn't realize I was supposed to send out invitations for my graduation until last night when Andrea asked me for hers. So everyone please know you are invited and I am too foreign and clueless to have known earlier and now its too late. :( 9:30 am, May 13, LittleJohn Coliseum for anyone who has the time, and we'll go out to lunch afterwards.
Anyways, I'm going to Prague, Czech Republic to study economic and political systems in July, and will either take up a job in Spartanburg for Michelin or study and apply for law school and go back to China to teach English. Chelsie and I are travelling with Marc and Toogay (yeah that's his name) around Europe in June. I am so excited for everything that is coming my way, but really sad since I've had to say goodbye to so many people already. My new clemson address is xiaoyiwang@alumni.clemson.edu if anyone needs to be in touch. *sob*... I miss everyone already....

I turn 21 soon... finally you're probably all thinking. Last semester, still don't know what exactly I'll be doing... anyone who wants to come up to graduation, gimme a call... Its on Friday May 13, so it might be unlucky. Why couldn't they wait a day til the 14th?
